Hey Kaley,
Those alligator flats on I-80 were crazy... i think we got about 12 between the 4 of us in 500 miles.
Where did you go on bike and build after nevada? we are in chico now, and headed for the coast. Then we'll go up to Seattle.
Enjoy the blog and send more tweets,

hi guys! i was chatting with tracy briefly a few days ago on twitter. i did bike and build in 2007 and rode those same 500+ mi on i-80. you're right about it not being that bad, but the flats are horrible. we figured out that when truck tires blow out, they have these staple things in them that tend to stay on the road after everything else is cleaned up. we found a lot of them in our tubes. i guess just watch extra carefully what youre riding over.

it's really fun following you - i wish i had seen this sooner! good luck making it across nevada. i look forward to reading some more.
